Brian asked Kristen to marry him by surprising her all day long, first with breakfast, then with dinner and with the dessert of a engagement ring. Fast forward to their wedding day, Hurricane Ike wanted to be a surprise guest to their wedding. He lingered around with nasty looking clouds in the morning and then decided he didn't want to crash the party and literally swirled around the area and just brought wind and humidity. The sun shined right down on Kristen and Brian for their big day.
As the sun shined down, causing a tad bit of humidity, Brian stood leaning against a brick wall, awaiting his bride. He heard the sound of a door open, the steps of his fiance and the swooping noise of her dress on the grass. Kristen gently tapped him on his shoulder and he is stopped in his tracks. No words from Brian, he's struck by silence and just goes right for the hug and kiss. Bridesmaids stand inside watching through the windows with tear filled eyes. It was beautiful and was just the beginning of a day to match that beauty.
These two have the BEST sense of humor and so do their friends. The day had tons of laugh including wigs at the end of the ceremony. We feel so blessed that Brian and Kristen allowed us to be part of all the beauty they shared Saturday!
Here are just a few photos! Check out more in the slideshow at the bottom!

Pat and I asked Brian and Kristen to just start kissing and we'd tell them when to stop. These two are SOOO into each other! We were done taking photos but let them keep kissing because we didn't want to interrupt!

And the slideshow!!!! (If you're viewing it in FireFox and the controls aren't showing up I'm sorry! Trying to fix that right now!)
