Hanging with The Tyler Bender Band in Nashville
Monday, March 16, 2009 at 08:14PM A first for the blog and hopefully not the last, a post by Pat (the hubby).
This past weekend I got the chance to go to Nashville, Tennessee and be with some great friends while they recorded their album. This has been a long time coming for The Tyler Bender Band. Over the past several months and probably longer the men of the band have been saving their hard earned money to make the trip to Nashville possible. This group of guys play every Wednesday night for the group of high school students that Maya and I volunteer with. So needless to say when I heard they were doing this I wanted to be with the guys and photograph this moment for them, plus I wanted to listen to some great music.
Thank you guys for allowing me to be apart of this and also for letting me design the artwork for the album (more on that later). You guys are amazing and are so inspiring to be around.
Here are some of my favorites from the weekend:

Here is Ryan, the bass player.

Here is Brian or B-Raves, the drummer. (Zane's favorite, sorry guys)

Here the guys are taking a break from recording to play some Oregon Trail on the iPhone.

Here is Jon, guitarist and vocals.

Here are the guys listening to their masterpiece.

Here is Tyler, lead vocals and guitar.

Here is Andy, keys, guitar and vocals.
