Special Delivery for Zane

Several weeks ago (yes I'm that behind on personal blogging!) Zane had a special delivery. Our doorbell rang and I opened the door to see the package on our doorstep. We saw our friend Jon speeding out of our cul-de-sac. Pat and I already knew what was inside so we waited for Zane to wake up from his nap. Zane could not believe what was in the box! His very own DRUM!

He knew what to do with it right away! His face lit up like it was Christmas morning! When we told him who dropped it off, that Jon and the guys from the Tyler Bender Band, gave it to him he went through and said every one of their names and kept yelling DRUMS!!! The next morning he woke up and wanted to know if his drum was still here. He ran into the great room and literally did a dance around the drum singing "Drum's still here!"

So now our house is filled daily with the beat of this drum. Thank you to the guys who helped take the sound down a bit with some tape and the right drum sticks! It's still pretty loud but it doesn't bother us at all. If Zane loves it why not foster it? We just have to keep him from using the drumsticks on everything else in our house!

Thank you guys for an awesome gift! He was already your number one fan but I think you guys jumped to total rock star status with him!
