Edward - Such Great Heights 2010 Senior

Edward is one of the guys in Pat's Merge small group so we knew we'd have fun with him. We had some hilarious conversations from the poison ivy I was about to step in to all of us talking about the graffiti in detail.

It was fun for me to get to know Edward better since I've heard so much about him from Pat. Edward is hoping to go to school to study Geology at Ball State. We hope you hear some positive news from them soon!

Time to meet Edward.

Trivia, video games, life.

I love this photo of Edward!

What activities are you involved with at school or outside of school?
Church.

What do you do on a typical night out with friends?

I don’t usually do very much dancing but i like chill music like Radiohead, ColdPlay, Pete Francis and others.

Nothing that I can’t make myself.

Teacher or something with computers.

Edward looks like he's in deep thought.

Six Months: Graham & Family

Have I talked about how much I am loving doing these growing year sessions? Not only do I love seeing Graham grow but it's also so fun to see the whole family together as he grows. It ended up being a VERY cold morning when we met up for Graham's six month session. They all were troopers as we raced to beat the rain. We decided to grab some family photos too for their Christmas cards.

Check out how much Graham has grown!

And look at all that hair. He's kept it!

I just love this photo.

Parker's smile cracks me up in this photo!

Parker always is watching me with the camera, even when he's getting all bundled up.

Showing off his rolling skills!

And those adorable eye lashes.

Parker cuddling up with Mommy.

And Graham with Daddy.

Lisa - Such Great Heights 2010 Senior

Lisa's session ended up being on a super cold day. She totally ran with it and we decided that if we laughed enough both of us would stay warm. And we certainly laughed! Lisa actually has one of the best laughs I've ever heard and an amazing smile to go with it!

Lisa's one of those girls who can make any situation fun and I'm sure she's the friend that everyone wants to hang out with because you walk away in a better mood!

Meet Lisa.

What are your favorite activities?

I love hanging out with my friends and family. As long as I'm with the people I love, then I'll do pretty much anything. Other than that, I love reading, swimming and sleeping.

Lisa's gorgeous smile.

What activities are you involved with at school or outside of school?

I am co-stage manager for our fall musical "Singing in the Rain." I'm also a part of the Shepherd Team for Merge. I'm co-shepherd of my small group.

Here's that laugh!

What do you do on a typical night out with friends?
A lot of the time we will just go to someone's house and watch movies. But sometimes we will go swing dancing downtown or bowling or whatever we think could be fun. We have fun doing anything.

Lisa making the fall leaves even prettier.

What type of music/band makes you get up and dance?

It usually isn't the type of music that makes me dance, it's the people. Like my sister or my friends. Or sometimes it's the lack of people. I'm known for my singing and dancing in my car and at my house.

What movie makes you happy?

Anything Disney!

What movie makes you cry?

Any movie. Catch me in the right mood and I'll cry at anything from Finding Nemo to A Walk to Remember.

What TV show are you addicted to? It's okay to admit it!

I'm actually not really addicted to any shows. I'm too afraid that I would get WAY too obsessed. But if I was to become addicted to a show, it would probably be The Office.

Do you have a book you could read over and over?

The Truth About Forever

I soooo love this phooto of Lisa!

What food does your family cook that you will miss when you go to college?

Salmon with my mom's sauce, steak, mash potatoes and all the wonderful pasta!

What are your hopes/plans for the future?

Graduate from High School. College for four years with a masters in Elementary Education. Then, get a job as a first or second grade teacher. And somewhere between graduating from college and dying, I would like to get married and have kids. Of course, God may have different plans.

What do you want people to remember about you when they look back on your senior year?

Oh Goodness. Well, I guess I would hope that people would remember me as someone who accepted the person God made them to be and was willing to be friends with anyone.

Lisa, I love your last answer! You're such an amazing young woman! Best of luck in your senior year!

The Newest Band Member

Pat and I asked Zane over and over what he wanted to be for Halloween. We asked him if he wanted to be a fireman, a train conductor, a dinosaur or anything other thing he'd like to be. He told us over and over "I want to be Tyler Bender Band." So that's just what we did. He didn't look that dressed up because he wears this kind of stuff anyways but we did get him a new pair of shoes to match the band. At his school Halloween parade he looked like the kid whose parents don't celebrate Halloween or that his mom forgot to dress him up. They wouldn't let him take in his drum sticks or guitar! Geez!

Halloween started off with heading across the street to our neighbors who came to the door with a scary wolf mask on. Zane's face was full of shock and his lip started to quiver so our neighbor ran back inside and sent his wife out. He came out shortly without the mask. But it made Zane very weary of going up to doors so we took turns carrying him up to doors for a bit till he got the idea that there wasn't anyone scary and he got candy! And yes, Pat and I also dressed up like the band.

We went trick or treating with Grace, Zane's future wife. :) Here's Zane showing her where more candy can be found.

Pat decked out a guitar for Zane to carry around. However, Zane decided he just wanted the drum sticks. Brian, you win!

Daddy and Zane both in the band!

Zane started drumming down the sidewalks.

Clint, Beth, Tori, Nathan, Sarah, Amaris & Corbin

After Sarah and Nathan's engagement session the rest of Nathan's family met up with us for a family session. They were so much fun to run around with outside. A couple of them had been sick that weekend so it was good to see them feeling better and all laughing with each other.

Their family just makes me smile! You can tell how much fun they have together and how they keep each other entertained!

Love this photo of all of them!
